October is National Bullying Prevention Month

Join Us in Our Annual
#RahRahAgainstBullying" Campaign!

In October 2014, Rah Rah Routines committed to the bullying prevention movement after hearing the story of 12-year-old Ronin Shimizu from Folsom, Calif. He committed suicide last December after schoolmates allegedly had bullied him for being a cheerleader. He was the only male cheerleader on the squad.

Ronin's story touched us deeply. Since then, bullying prevention has been our social responsibility to advocate for change and make a difference in our society. We are passionate about equality, and strongly believe all individuals should be treated fairly and respectfully regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, general interests and more.

Rah Rah Routines is celebrating National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month throughout October with various social media activities and client participation - including Bullying Prevention Pledges, Blue Shirt Day and MORE!

So, let's make a conscious effort TOGETHER to:

  • BE KIND TO ONE ANOTHER

  • THINK BEFORE WE ACT & SPEAK

  • STAND UP FOR OTHERS

Let's Take a Stand AGAINST Bullying!!!

Stand up to bullying infographic

Rah Rah Routines has compiled facts and statistics about the impact bullying has on our youth. The infographic above informs individuals about the emotional impact bullying has on individuals, and what preventive actions people can take to resolve bullying conflict. Please share this information with your youth, family and friends so we can make our world a "No Bully Zone."

project connect

Rah Rah Routines has spearheaded a project connect activity originally founded on the Pacer's website, dedicated to bullying prevention efforts. However, we put our own spin on it. Throughout October, cheerleaders were asked to write one word on a piece of paper that describes what makes their team special/unique. The pieces of paper were then linked together to create a chain of unity. Click on the photo to the right for more information.
